Duration of studies three (3) years in Athens, Greece
Two (2) years of studies class-based, simulator, practical training for the issuance of certificates required for the provision of Seaman’s Book, ancillary certificates
One (1) year of sea service as a Deck Cadet on board an ocean-going vessel
This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in table A-II/1 of STCW Code for the following functions at the Operational Level
- Navigation
- Cargo Handling and Stowage
- Controlling the Operation of the Ship
- Care for Persons on Board
- Min 18 years old and Holder of High School Certificate
- Hold a valid Seafarers Medical Fitness Certificate (IMO/ILO)
- English Language Certificate
The course is accredited and approved by Transport Malta, Table A-II/1 of STCW Code
